A common question I receive is about the specific software and tools I use for my day-to-day work. While tools are always secondary to the framework you apply, a well-configured workbench is critical.
This is not a prescriptive guide, but rather a transparent look at my current setup. It’s intended to be flexible, designed to handle a wide spectrum of engineering tasks, from structural calculations and data modeling to developing internal AI systems at Knight Piésold.
I do regularly use commercial software such as Revit, SAP2000 and Ansys but today’s discussion is on the programming toolkit.
